São Paulo plays two training games on the same day with an eye on the 2nd semester

The first match will be against Primavera, at 10am; the second against Santo André, at 2pm.

The strategy is part of the technical committee's planning to observe a greater number of players in action and better distribute the squad's minutes load before the resumption of official competitions.

In addition to this Saturday's commitments, São Paulo also plans to hold two more training games on Friday, July 17th. One of the opponents has already been confirmed: Ferroviária. The other is yet to be defined.

Initially, the club even negotiated a training game against Internacional, in Beira-Rio, for July 12th. However, the conversations did not progress, and the board chose to maintain preparation at the Barra Funda CT, avoiding travel and reducing costs.

The time for each match will still be defined by the technical committee. The tendency is for clashes to be played in two halves of 30 or 40 minutes, depending on the week's training load.

During the break for the World Cup, São Paulo has already carried out two other preparatory tests. The team drew 2-2 with Juventus and ended 0-0 against Red Bull Bragantino last Saturday.
