Search and seizure warrants were executed at residences. In a residence, in Jardim Primaveras, a 6.35 caliber pistol was seized, along with 21 rounds of ammunition.
GAECO informed, a moment ago, that those investigated are “permanent employees of the municipality who work in the area of inspection” and “the court authorized, during compliance with court orders, the seizure of cell phones, documents, projects related to the engineering area and other materials that will be analyzed by the teams”.
The city hall reported that the “operation does not investigate the sector or the activities of the secretariat, but rather the activities of two employees”. The press office also explained that, “during the investigation, nothing was seized or taken from the premises (secretariat)” and that the secretary “received the agents, showed the facilities and showed what the work routine is like in the sector”. The advisory also informed that the city hall “is available to the competent authorities to collaborate with the investigations.
GAECO had support from police officers from Grupo Raio, Tactical Force and the PM battalion to carry out the operation.
