The wedding announcement was shown on the big screens at Madison Square Garden, in New York, in the United States.
The ceremony was officiated by actor and comedian Adam Sandler.
According to Taylor Swift's longtime publicist, the bride and groom chose outfits designed by Christian Dior and decided not to have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen.
Instead, the singer's brother, Austin Swift, stood by her side during the ceremony, while former American football player Jason Kelce accompanied the groom, the BBC reported.
The event, held at Madison Square Garden, closed off one of the busiest streets in Manhattan and brought together big Hollywood stars for what was probably the party of the century.

Among the guests seen arriving at the venue — and which can be seen in the photo gallery — were names like Selena Gomez, a great friend of Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant and Chris Rock.
