The intervention improves vehicles' adhesion to the road, increases the waterproofing of the pavement and contributes to the safety and comfort of users, in addition to extending the useful life of the highway. Managed by ViaLagos, Rodovia dos Lagos (RJ-124) is nationally recognized for the quality of its infrastructure. According to the National Ranking of the CNT Highway Survey, the road is considered the best in the state of Rio de Janeiro and the second best in the country. 57 kilometers long, the highway connects the Metropolitan Region to the Lakes Region, being one of the main tourist routes in the state, especially during the high season. The concessionaire maintains continuous investments in conservation, recovery and modernization of the highway, with the application of high-performance technologies and materials, ensuring greater pavement durability, as well as greater safety and comfort for users.
