The opening will be at 7pm, at the Teatro do Sesc Santos, with a performance by the Santos Municipal Symphony Orchestra (OSMS), which welcomes singers Monica Salmaso, Fabiana Cozza and Monna in a tribute to Maria Bethânia's 80th birthday. Outdoor programming In addition to the opening at Sesc, the festival will feature performances in other parts of the city. On Friday (24), the program will be held in front of the Pelé Museum, in Valongo, from 6pm. On Saturday (25), the shows also take place in front of the Pelé Museum, starting at 3pm. On Sunday (26), the public will be able to follow the departures of the Jazz Bonde, starting at 3pm, at Valongo Station. Disclosure Discover the festival Created in 2012, the Santos Jazz Festival reaches its 14th edition, maintaining the proposal of honoring great names in music and promoting meetings between renowned artists and local talents. Throughout its history, the festival held 255 shows, brought together more than a thousand musicians and had more than 350 hours of performances. The event also promoted around 50 workshops with renowned artists and musicians from the region, in addition to having already received more than 120 thousand people. According to the organization, jazz and its various aspects are part of the festival's identity, with styles such as Latin jazz, gypsy jazz, hip hop jazz, samba jazz, bossa jazz, blues and soul music. The appreciation of LGBTQIAPN+, racial, generational, people with disabilities and gender diversity is also among the hallmarks of the event.
