Registration open for PM and Firefighter competitions in Maranhão with 1,800 vacancies; find out how to sign up

In both competitions, the candidate must have completed high school and a valid National Driving License, at least, in categories “A” or “B”. You must also be at least 18 years old on the date of enrollment in the training course and, at most, 35 years old by the last day of registration. The minimum height required is 1.60 meters for men and 1.55 meters for women. The notices provide for the reservation of 10% of vacancies for people with disabilities and 20% for candidates who declare themselves black or mixed race, according to the rules established in each selection. Military Police Competition The Military Police competition offers 1,000 immediate vacancies. Of this total, 970 are for soldiers of the Squadron of Squares, responsible for overt policing and the preservation of public order. The other 30 opportunities are intended for soldiers from the Musicians Squadron. There are vacancies for euphonium bombardino, clarinet, flute or piccolo, percussion and drums, alto, baritone and tenor saxophones, tenor trombone, French horn, trumpet and tuba. Registration can be made until 6pm on August 7th, Brasília time, on the Cebraspe website. The remuneration is R$6,149.08, for a 40-hour work week. Those approved may be assigned to any municipality in Maranhão, according to the classification and needs of the corporation. The selection will include objective tests, health assessment, physical fitness test, psychological assessment and social investigation. Candidates for musician positions will also undergo an instrumental practical test. The PM objective tests are scheduled for October 11th, in the afternoon, lasting three and a half hours. The application will take place in Balsas, Barra do Corda, Caxias, Colinas, Imperatriz, Pinheiro and São Luís. The other evaluations will only be carried out in the capital of Maranhão. Combatants will be able to work in fire prevention and fighting activities, search and rescue, rescue, pre-hospital care, civil defense, fire safety inspection, forensics and environmental protection. For musicians, there are opportunities in the specialties of clarinet, double bass or tuba, bombardino, transverse flute, percussion with qualifications in electric bass, drums or keyboard, alto and tenor saxophones, tenor rod trombone and trumpet with qualifications in cornet. Registration can be made until 6pm on August 7th, Brasília time, on the Cebraspe website. The remuneration is R$6,149.08 and the work regime is full-time dedication. The capacity of those approved will be defined according to the needs of the Fire Department. The competition will consist of objective tests, health assessment, physical test, psychological assessment and social investigation. Candidates for musician positions will also take a practical instrumental test. The objective test is scheduled for October 18, in the afternoon, lasting five hours. Just like in the PM competition, the exam will be administered in Balsas, Barra do Corda, Caxias, Colinas, Imperatriz, Pinheiro and São Luís. The other stages will be carried out in the capital.
