PM seizes four shotguns and ammunition during patrol in Campinas

PM seizes weapons and ammunition during patrol in Campinas Military Police Four shotguns and dozens of ammunition were seized on Tuesday night (28) during a Military Police patrol in the Piracambaia neighborhood region, in Campinas (SP), close to the border with Jaguariúna (SP). According to the PM, the teams were patrolling Rua Falcão Pelegrino when they became suspicious of two people in front of a house. During the approach, they found a third suspect and a woman who, upon noticing the presence of the police, quickly returned to the residence. They were approached. When carrying out searches inside the property, the agents located the weapons, as well as ammunition of different calibers and supplies for refilling the cartridges. In total, the following were seized: 84 ammunition; Four shotguns, namely: handmade 38 caliber; 20 gauge; 32 caliber and 28 caliber; Cartridges, gunpowder, lead and fuses. The owner of the residence was taken to the 1st DP of Campinas and the incident was registered as illegal possession of a permitted firearm.
