According to the Military Police, the victim himself called the corporation and reported that he was being sexually harassed and threatened by the driver of a truck. According to the woman's report to the police, the suspect displayed altered behavior and sudden changes in temperament. She also stated that he had consumed alcohol and used narcotic substances before the approach. After the incident, the man was taken to the Federal Highway Police (PRF) station to perform a breathalyzer test. According to police, the test did not indicate the presence of alcohol in the body.
