SÃO PAULO, SP (UOL/FOLHAPRESS) - The trial of Internacional defender Victor Gabriel, this Tuesday (28), at the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) was marked by the presentation of a false audio that was being attributed to the VAR.

The audio was presented by Internacional as evidence. It supposedly illustrated the conversation between the field referee and the VAR booth in the move that resulted in the expulsion of the Colorado defender, for a foul on Gabriel Pec, from Cruzeiro. The Minas Gerais team player suffered a fracture in his left leg.

The information that the audio was fake came to light during the votes. The auditors noticed this after the repercussions on social networks and messages on the phone. The situation also changed the course of the vote, culminating in a favorable score for removal until Pec returned to training.

The audio presented an unusual form of dialogue and in no way resembled the protocol defined by the CBF. By consulting the entity's website, it is possible to see that there was no audio broadcast by the VAR about this move in Inter x Cruzeiro.

The auditors even considered the possibility of suspending the trial. Internacional's lawyer, Rogério Pastl, however, said that they could continue, disregarding the evidence. And so it happened.

Inter's lawyer acknowledged that there was a mistake. According to him, the file was put together mistakenly and without intention.

Victor Gabriel will be suspended for the duration of Pec's recovery. The decision can be appealed.
