“The truth requires courage,” he said. "But not every truth requires a battle. Not every time we disagree with someone there has to be convincing. Or when you criticize someone there has to be a defense. Not every conversation has to end with someone winning."
According to Fernanda, she tries to put this thought into practice on a daily basis. For the actress, maturing also means listening more, speaking only what is necessary and understanding that not everything revolves around one's own opinion.
She also revealed that she has faced problems for saying exactly what she thought. The experience, she said, made her realize that it is more worth choosing which discussions really matter.
"Telling the truth has already caused me some problems. So, learning to give myself due importance has resolved several of them", he added.
