Xavi began his career as a coach in 2019 and has been without a job since leaving Barcelona in 2024. In an interview with RNE Deportes radio, the former midfielder mentioned his family when commenting on his desire to take over a national team.
At club level, I wouldn't have as much time to spend with my family, I have young children. I have to respect all coaches who work for national teams, but I would really like to coach a national team.
