The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said that starting this Wednesday (22) Washington will attack a bridge or power plant in Iran for every attack Tehran carries out in the Strait of Hormuz.

"From now on, whenever the Islamic Republic of Iran fires on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz - whether with a missile, drone or any other device or weapon - the United States will bomb and destroy A BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located near or within the capital, Tehran," Trump wrote on his social media site, Truth Social.

Even today, Iran has threatened to attack the interests of the United States and its allies in the Middle East, if Washington launches attacks against Iranian nuclear facilities, at a time when military tensions are worsening.

The considerations were made by the Central General Headquarters Khatam al-Anbiya, joint command of the Iranian Armed Forces, which condemned the United States' threats regarding attacks on "nuclear installations and other sensitive sites" of the Islamic Republic, stating that US operations would be seen as an expansion of the war in the region.

Earlier, Donald Trump had announced that "very soon and with great force" he would attack "Mountain Pickaxe", an underground complex that Washington claims is linked to Iran's nuclear program.

The installation is located in a mountainous area, which makes possible destruction through conventional attacks difficult and raises questions about the capabilities needed to reach underground structures.

This is a time of great tension in the conflict between the two countries, as, after months and a prospect of peace, the attacks have returned. Today, the US concluded 11 consecutive nights of bombings against Iranian territory, particularly in the south of the country.

In response, Tehran launched missiles and drones at US targets in several Middle Eastern nations, including Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan.

According to the Iranian Ministry of Health, the US attacks over the last 11 days have caused 53 deaths, including six women and three children, and around 600 injuries.

The war began on February 28, with the launch of a joint offensive by the United States and Israel against Iran, to which Tehran responded with attacks in the region and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
