Prophecy: Baba Vanga predicted natural catastrophe for the end of 2026

According to predictions attributed to the Bulgarian, a major natural tragedy could occur before the end of 2026. However, the reports do not specify what type of disaster it would be. Among the possibilities mentioned are earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions or large forest fires. According to these versions, around 8% of the world population would be affected by the event.

Another point that draws attention to the supposed prophecies involves the possibility of first contact between human beings and extraterrestrial intelligence. Reports state that this meeting would take place in November and even suggest that humanity could discover the existence of an alien civilization that would already live on Earth.

In addition to these predictions, an ancient prophecy often associated with Baba Vanga was discussed again in 2026: the possibility of a Third World War. This time, the reports relate this scenario to tensions involving the United States and Iran, with the hypothesis that the conflict could expand and also involve the war in Ukraine.

Born as Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova, in Strumica, a city that currently belongs to North Macedonia, Baba Vanga was raised in Bulgaria, lost her sight at a young age and died in 1996. Known as the "Nostradamus of the Balkans", she never recorded her predictions in writing. Everything attributed to the seer was transmitted over the years by people close to her who claimed to have heard her revelations.

Among the predictions that his admirers consider accurate are the death of Princess Diana in 1997, the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York in 2001, the election of Barack Obama as president of the United States in 2008, and the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union in 2020.

Baba Vanga lived simply in the village of Rupite, in Bulgaria, a place he believed had a strong spiritual energy. At his home, he received visitors from different regions interested in hearing his visions about the future. After his death, followers built a church on the site with resources from donations. The temple, however, generated discontent in the Bulgarian Orthodox Church due to the realistic paintings of biblical figures accompanied by an image of the seer herself.
