The actor won over audiences as children when he played striking characters on television and became one of the best-known faces among child artists at the time. Pedro Malta's debut on television took place in 2002, when he joined the cast of "Coração de Estudante". In the plot, he played Lipe, son of the character played by Fábio Assunção. The relationship between the two characters won over viewers and helped to promote the young actor nationally. During the soap opera, he also starred with names like Adriana Esteves and Helena Ranaldi, consolidating his place in dramaturgy.
After the success of his first work, Pedro continued his career with participation in other productions. Among them are "Kubanacan", shown in 2003, and "Começar de Novo", from 2004. Later, he also joined the cast of Record soap operas, such as "Prova de Amor". His last work on television was in 2017, in the biblical soap opera "O Rico e Lázaro".
After leaving the soap operas, Pedro Malta decided to follow a new professional path. The former actor began to invest in literature and released the book "The voices in my head only speak in verses", a work in which he brings together poetic texts and expresses his passion for writing.
In addition to literature, he returned to his studies and completed his degree in Radio and TV, in Recife, his hometown. Since then, he has directed his work behind the scenes in audiovisual, with the aim of writing scripts, directing short films and developing pilots for television. He also participates in courses related to the performing arts, giving lectures and activities aimed at training new professionals.
Personal life also underwent important changes. Pedro Malta is married to Fernanda Lacerda and became the father of Dante, born in March 2023. On social media, he often shares moments with his son, who often catches the attention of his followers due to his resemblance to his father in childhood.
Although he is far from the television spotlight, Pedro Malta has not abandoned art. Currently, he dedicates his time to writing, creating audiovisual projects and developing new talents, keeping his connection with the artistic world alive, now away from acting in front of the camera.
