The production was launched on Monday, the 20th, one year after Preta Gil's death, and brings together testimonies from family and close people about different moments in the artist's life, including the period in which she faced cancer and the end of her marriage.
When speaking out, Godoy stated that he had been following the behind-the-scenes lives of people who now criticize him for a long time and suggested that he could reveal compromising episodes.
"I think you forgot that I lived behind the scenes for a long time, right? That I heard a lot of things, that I watched a lot of things, that I witnessed a lot of things. You have a glass roof throwing stones at other people's ceilings. You can't do it. If the big bad wolf blows, your house will fall", he declared.
Without mentioning names, the singer's ex-husband also insinuated that he knew about extramarital affairs involving famous people.
"A lot of people talking shit. You don't talk about your life, that you were the lover of so and so, that you, married, were with a lover at the same party. You don't remember that, do you?", he said.
In the documentary, Carolina Dieckmann recalled the emotional impact that the end of her marriage had on Preta Gil during her cancer treatment. According to the actress, the way the relationship ended worsened a period that was already delicate for her friend.
"Preta's illness has a very big aggravating factor, which I can't even say how big it was, which came with the end of the marriage the way it was. I think that, at that moment, it was the biggest blow of cancer. You take a beating from someone you don't expect, that you sleep with", he stated.
Gominho also commented on Rodrigo's absence during chemotherapy sessions. He said that he decided to leave Salvador and move closer to Preta when he realized that the singer was facing treatment while dealing with her then-husband's betrayal.
"Then it was her ex-husband cheating and she was undergoing chemotherapy. So I said: 'No, guys, there's no way. I'm going there'. We already intended to always stay with her", he reported.
