Michael Douglas appears hand in hand with his daughter at an event in Spain

The 81-year-old actor was honored for his professional career and long-standing relationship with the Spanish island, in addition to his work promoting local culture and heritage.

For the event, Michael chose a navy blue suit, paired with a white shirt without a tie and black leather shoes.

Carys, 23, wore a black ensemble consisting of a strapless top and wide pants with lace details at the hem. The young woman completed her look with gold jewelry, metallic heel sandals and a snakeskin print bag.

Father and daughter walked hand in hand along the red carpet and smiled for photographers, demonstrating closeness during the ceremony.

Carys is the daughter of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones and is also beginning to take her first steps in acting. A few weeks ago, she debuted in a play in New York.

According to Hello! magazine, Michael and Catherine attended the premiere with pride. Married for around 28 years, the actors are also parents to 25-year-old Dylan Michael Douglas.
