The 13th is due to holders of social security benefits, such as pensions, death pensions, accident benefits, and sickness benefits (temporary incapacity benefit). The amount can be full or proportional, depending on the date the benefit was granted.
In cases of temporary benefits, however, the rule is different. According to the INSS, the payment of the 13th payment takes place during the term of the benefit, as per legal provision. Policyholders who receive sickness benefit, for example, may receive the benefit on a different date than the November payroll, depending on the period in which the benefit remains active.
Beneficiaries of the BPC (Continuous Payment Benefit) and RMV (Lifetime Monthly Income) are not entitled to the 13th salary because these benefits are assistance, not social security.

WHO GETS THE 13TH IN NOVEMBER?
