The former parliamentarian was transferred to Brazilian territory hours after his arrest. According to the Federal Police, he was taken to the corporation's unit in Corumbá (MS).
Razuk was sentenced to prison in 2025, but was not arrested at the time because he was still a state deputy. He lost his position in May this year after the TRE-MS (Regional Electoral Court of Mato Grosso do Sul) retotalized the votes for state deputy in 2022 and this changed the composition of the state's Legislative Assembly.
Razuk's name was included in Interpol's red broadcast. The request was made by the Federal Police, through the Mato Grosso do Sul Court. Red Diffusion is to locate and arrest people wanted for prosecution or to serve a sentence.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, Razuk and his relatives had acted to take control of the exploitation of gambling in the state using means of corruption, money laundering and theft to maintain the monopoly and advance in other regions. The investigation was conducted by Gaeco (Special Action Group for the Repression of Organized Crime). The prosecution requested the freezing of R$36 million in family assets.
In addition to the prison sentence, the sentence determines that he does not hold public office for eight years. The former deputy's defense says they are awaiting his transfer to Campo Grande and are monitoring the next steps in the case.
