SÃO PAULO, SP (UOL/FOLHAPRESS) - FIFA opened this Monday (27) the registration of interest for those who wish to volunteer at the 2027 Women's World Cup, which will be played in Brazil. Around 6 thousand people will be selected to work in the eight host cities of the tournament (Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo).

Interested parties can now register interest on the FIFA platform and will be notified when registrations officially open in the coming weeks. People aged 18 or over, Brazilian or legally authorized to enter the country during the competition can participate.
No prior experience is required, but knowledge of Portuguese or English is required. Other languages ??will be considered a plus.
Volunteers will work in more than 20 areas, including media, transport, technology, operations and competitions. The work is voluntary and unpaid, but FIFA will provide uniforms, food during shifts and other benefits.
The 2027 Women's World Cup will be the first edition of the tournament held in South America. The competition begins on June 24, 2027.
