With this, Corinthians now has four active transfer bans. In addition to the new punishment, the club was already the target of sanctions for the debt with the Philadelphia Union, for fines applied by FIFA and for the delay in paying a portion of the agreement signed at the CBF's National Dispute Resolution Chamber (CNRD).
The new transfer ban increases the pressure on the board, which is trying to resolve issues in order to register new players, including striker Wesley, the club's target this summer.
