Dener Marcos Guieiro, 28, was last seen on July 4, around 2 am local time. At the time, the miner was spotted in the Hackney region, in east London. The information comes from the Metropolitan Police of the English capital.
Metropolitan Police released a photo of Dener and appealed on social media for information. In a post, the organization said it was "concerned about Dener's well-being" and asked anyone who has any clues about the Brazilian's whereabouts to contact the authorities.
Guieiro has a degree in gastronomy and has lived in London since 2020. He lives in the English capital, where he works as a chef in a local restaurant.
Before disappearing, Dener had gone to a party, according to initial information. He later stopped communicating with his family and friends and was reported missing.
Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed Dener's disappearance. In a note to UOL, Itamaraty reported that it is monitoring the case through the Consulate General of Brazil in London, and highlighted that it is "in contact with local authorities, in addition to providing appropriate consular assistance" to the miner's family.
UOL tries to contact Dener's family in Brazil. The space remains open for demonstrations.
