TikTok dances and funk remixes invade school gangs TikTok reported this Friday (10) that it will strengthen its tools, partnerships and security mechanisms to help its users identify content generated by artificial intelligence (AI). New features announced include: New educational resources and more investment in the AI ??Literacy Fund; Testing enhanced detection systems to identify accounts dedicated to publishing AI-generated spam that harm original creators; and Strengthening technical standards that add encrypted metadata to images, videos and audio. Called a “seal of origin”, the feature allows you to verify the authorship, date and all editing tools used to create the content. “As this technology evolves, there is also a risk that it will be misused to produce spam content on a large scale, which ends up overshadowing authentic creators”, explained TikTok in a note. According to the company, the social network has been working to combat spam for some time and uses technology to remove this type of publication. “In the first quarter of this year alone, we removed more than 86 million fake accounts,” added the company. In the coming weeks, specifically, TikTok will test improvements to the detection systems for accounts dedicated to publishing AI-generated spam on topics that could pose risks to public trust or well-being. Among the monitored content are: Politics and current affairs; Financial advice; and Health content. “To date, we have classified more than 3 billion videos as AIGC [artificial intelligence generated content] through a combination of Content Credentials, creator identification tools and our invisible watermarking technology,” explained the company.
