The aircraft crossed three continents, two oceans and saw the sun rise and set twice. Airbus has an agreement to sell 12 units of the A350-1000ULR to Australian airline Qantas, which will be capable of non-stop flights to destinations such as the United Kingdom and the United States. The longest commercial flight in operation at the moment is that of Singapore Airlines, between Singapore and New York, with approximately 15,350 km and more than 18 hours duration. The flight between Sydney, Australia, and London, United Kingdom, for example, would reach 18,500 km.
