With themed streets, facades inspired by the birthplaces of the blues, Instagrammable spaces and immersive experiences, Vila do Blues has established itself as one of the great differences of the Dipanas Blues International Festival. In the 14th edition of the event, marked by the theme “Roots”, the structure once again transforms the Francisco Olivé Diniz Exhibition Park, in Pará de Minas, in the Central region of the State, into a true blues city, reinforcing the city's leading role in the national scene of the musical genre. Held on August 15, the festival reaches its fourth consecutive edition at the Exhibition Park, a space that allowed to expand not only the audience capacity, but also the event's cultural immersion proposal. It was precisely with the move to the location, in 2023, that the Scenographic Village was born, designed to bring visitors even closer to the history and atmosphere surrounding the blues. "Dipanas Blues has grown a lot over the years and, when we arrived at the Exhibition Park, we understood that we needed to offer more than just shows. We wanted to create a complete experience, which would transport the public to the blues universe from the moment they enter the festival. That's how Vila do Blues was born", explains the executive producer of Voodoo Produção Cultural, organizer of the event, Hugo Lacerda. The main gateway to this experience is Blues Street, a scenic street created especially for the festival. Inspired by urban references linked to the history of blues and architectural elements from North American cities that helped shape the musical genre, it brings together themed facades, urban furniture, special lighting, common areas and spaces for photos. The structures are produced in fabric and receive a scenographic finish developed exclusively for each edition. This year, in line with the theme “Roots”, the project focuses on retro references, with elements that refer to the origins of blues and the aesthetics of the first communities where the genre developed. "Each edition has its own identity. We have already paid homage to places like New Orleans, Mississippi and Chicago. In 2026, we are looking at the roots of the blues, at the history that began with African people and went through generations until becoming a universal language. The entire scenography dialogues with this narrative", highlights Hugo. In addition to enriching the public's experience, Blues Street has become an important activation space for sponsors. Participating brands begin to integrate the festival's atmosphere through personalized facades, transforming promotional actions into elements of the event's own visual narrative. “The public doesn't just find stands. Brands are part of the experience and help tell the festival's story. This creates a much more authentic and memorable connection between companies and visitors”, says the producer. Dipanas Blues Sign Dipanas Blues Advertising Experience created to surprise According to Hugo, the Scenic Village also emerged as a creative solution to integrate different areas of the Exhibition Park. The route between the main arena and other event spaces was transformed into a visual and sensorial experience capable of stimulating public circulation. “The idea was to transform a common journey into a moment of discovery. When walking through Vila do Blues, the visitor encounters new experiences, scenarios, activations and points of interaction. The route becomes part of the show”, he explains. The proposal has contributed to consolidating the festival as one of the biggest blues events in Brazil. In the last edition, Dipanas Blues brought together more than seven thousand people and moved different sectors of the local economy, in addition to promoting cultural and social actions over several months. Ferris Wheel of the Dipanas Blues Festival Dipanas Blues Disclosure Homage to the identity of Pará de Minas This year, Vila do Blues also reinforces its connection with the history of Pará de Minas. One of the highlights will be the tribute to the clown Benjamin de Oliveira, recognized as the first black clown in Brazil and one of the most important personalities in national culture. The artist will gain an exclusive scenographic space within the Village, expanding the dialogue between the history of the blues, Afro-descendant roots and the appreciation of the characters who helped build Brazilian cultural identity. "Vila do Blues doesn't just talk about music. It also talks about memory, identity and belonging. Honoring Benjamin de Oliveira is recognizing the importance of a fundamental character in Brazilian culture and reinforcing the pride that Pará de Minas has in its own history", highlights Hugo Lacerda. Live broadcast and special coverage Another attraction confirmed at the 14th edition of Dipanas Blues is the BR Super broadcast booth, which returns to the festival to conduct interviews, exclusive content and real-time coverage of the shows. This year, the presentation will be in charge of journalist Terence Machado, one of the main references in music and rock journalism in Minas Gerais. With more than 10 hours of programming, three stages and national and international attractions, the Dipanas Blues International Festival takes place on August 15th and promises to once again transform Pará de Minas into the Brazilian capital of blues, uniting music, culture, history and immersive experiences in a single space.
