In Alto Tietê, Line 11-Coral serves the Estudantes, Mogi das Cruzes, Brás Cubas and Jundiapeba stations, in Mogi das Cruzes; Suzano, in Suzano; Poá and Calmon Viana, in Poá; and Antonio Gianetti Neto and Ferraz de Vasconcelos, in Ferraz de Vasconcelos. Line 12-Safira serves Calmon Viana, in Poá, and Aracaré, Itaquaquecetuba and Engenheiro Manoel Feio, in Itaquaquecetuba. According to CPTM, a contingency plan was activated to reduce impacts on passengers. The company also informed that it appealed to the Regional Labor Court (TRT), which ordered 80% of the workforce to operate during peak hours and 60% during other periods. If the decision is not complied with, the union may be fined R$400,000 per day. The strike was decided at a meeting held on Monday (3). According to the Union of Workers in Railway Companies of the Central Zone of Brazil, the strike is against the privatization of the lines and also in defense of maintaining employees' jobs.
