Payment of the registration fee can be made until August 3rd, and the publication of the preliminary list of registered candidates has been postponed until August 7th. This year, PAES 2027 will offer 5,680 places for in-person undergraduate courses, 4,755 places at Uema and 925 places at the State University of the Tocantina Region of Maranhão (Uemasul). The selection process already has more than 14 thousand exemptions from the registration fee. So far, the Medicine course, in São Luís, leads the competition, with 2,705 applicants for 80 places. Next comes the Military Police Officer Training Course (CFO/PMMA), in São Luís, with 2,570 registered for 40 vacancies; Medicine, in Caxias, with 1,424 registered for 70 vacancies; Medicine, in Imperatriz, with 1,091 applicants for 40 vacancies; and the Fire Department Officer Training Course (CFO/CBMMA), in São Luís, with 1,013 applicants for 25 vacancies.
