The measure was made official by Complementary Law No. 494, signed by Mayor Helinho Zanatta (PSD) and published in the Official Gazette on Monday night (27). The plan is valid for 120 days and establishes that whoever joins the PDV will be permanently disconnected from the municipal public service. In addition to the severance pay provided by law, the server will receive a financial incentive calculated based on length of service - see the calculations below. The program is voluntary and applies to direct and indirect administration employees. The rule includes both statutory servants and public employees hired by the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT). ? However, servers sentenced by the Court to lose their position cannot participate in the program. The city hall justified the implementation of the PDV with the aim of modernizing management and strengthening the ‘fiscal sustainability of the municipality’. The law also provides that compensation will be paid with resources from the budget of the municipality and local authorities. Servants who have already retired, or who have already requested retirement, will be entitled to an extra salary if they join the PDV. This amount will be paid in addition to the benefit provided for the length of service. Other rules and restrictions of the Piracicaba Fumep POS in Piracicaba (SP) Paulo Henrique The deadline for employees to express interest is 120 days, counting from the publication of the law. The term can be renewed once for another 120 days, within two years and according to the wishes of the city hall. The city hall and local authority boards may deny membership requests if the employee's departure compromises the provision of essential services to the population. Once the request is approved, the server cannot withdraw from the process. The law also determines that the periods in which the employee was away by the National Social Security Institute (INSS) or by Ipasp will not be included in the calculation of benefits. Leave to care for a family member and unpaid leave are also left out. Another point of the plan is that anyone who joins the PDV will not be able to be readmitted to the same position or public employment for two years. The exception is for appointments to positions of trust (commission).
