Fugitive fugitive is arrested after being identified in a police incident in Itaituba PC/Ascom A man investigated for homicide and who had been wanted by the Civil Police for over a year was arrested on Monday night (27), in Itaituba, in the southwest of Pará. According to the Civil Police, Francinaldo Silva dos Santos, known as "Baianinho", had an arrest warrant served after being identified during an incident involving another suspect. According to the Civil Police, Francinaldo accompanied Cristiano Venuto dos Santos, arrested in the act in another police procedure. At the time of the approach, the driver of the vehicle used in the escape did not present any documents and, therefore, was not immediately identified. At the Itaituba Homicide Police Station, consultations with internal systems confirmed that the driver was Francinaldo Silva dos Santos. The police found that there was an open arrest warrant against him, issued by the Single Court of the District of Icatu, in Maranhão. The warrant was carried out at the police unit itself. According to the Civil Police, Francinaldo was also investigated by the Itaituba Homicide Police Station for alleged involvement in the death of Ítalo Henrique, which occurred on January 6, 2025. According to the corporation, he had been wanted since then, but had not been located until his arrest this Monday. The case remains under investigation by the Itaituba Homicide Police Station.
