The PT called the Electoral Attorney General's Office (PGE) to investigate possible irregularities in the participation of the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, in the PL convention that made official the candidacy of senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) for the Presidency of the Republic. In representation, the party questions the lack of transparency regarding the origin of the resources used to facilitate the Argentine leader's trip to the event.

The acronym calls for the opening of an investigation to determine whether Milei's presence was paid for with public resources from Argentina, the president's own resources, PL party funds or private contributions from third parties. According to the PT, identifying the origin of the financing will allow the Public Electoral Ministry to verify the legal regularity of the expenses.
The representation also questions the use of the São Paulo government structure to receive the Argentine president at Palácio dos Bandeirantes. Before the PL convention, governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans) awarded Milei the Order of Ipiranga, the State's highest honor.
"Precisely because the ceremony involved state apparatus, public facilities, official protocol, participation of public agents and use of the state administrative structure, it is essential to clarify the extent of the resources used and their effective link to the institutional purpose that justified the carrying out of the act", states the PT in the representation.
