According to the municipal administration, the objective is to provide animals with the experience of living in a family environment while they wait for a permanent adoption. Living with guardians helps with the socialization of pets and can facilitate adaptation to their new home. How it works Interested residents can receive a rescued dog or cat for a period of up to six months or until the animal is permanently adopted. During this period, the city hall offers all the necessary support for the animal's basic care, including: food; vermifuge; cleaning products; monitoring by the Animal Welfare Division technical team.
