Delivered by Plaenge in Alto da Palhano, Aura was designed to provide a living experience connected to the city and nature. Part of the Plaenge Parque Urbano masterplan, the development combines architecture, interiors and landscaping in a proposal that favors coexistence, the breadth of spaces and integration with the surroundings. To develop this concept, Plaenge brought together professionals with a long history in the national market. Among them, Benedito Abbud, who developed the landscaping, and the firm Bohrer Arquitetos, which designed the architecture and interiors of the project. Land as starting point Luiza Bohrer, who has been at the head of the company for forty years, highlights that different elements guided the main decisions for Aura. The corner where the project is located was interpreted by the Bohrer team as an opportunity: "we explored the different sides of the lot and created an entrance through a square, which changes the paradigm of restricted access to the back", he explains. The building's architecture is based on pure and straight lines, with solid volumes that assert their presence in the neighborhood. This solidity is balanced with the lightness of the colors and shapes of Benedito Abbud's landscaping, creating a composition in which the built and the natural complement each other. Instead of a recessed entrance facing inwards, Aura presents itself through the square, anticipating, already at the entrance, the proposal of urban kindness that guides the entire Plaenge Parque Urbano masterplan, a project that integrates four buildings into the surrounding area through landscaping, open sidewalks and spaces designed for coexistence between residents and the neighborhood. In the interior design, the team worked on what Luiza calls spatialities and voids. The double height ceiling and the spaciousness of the spaces, in turn, create what she describes as "breathing", a quality that is increasingly valued in high-end residential architecture. "The double height, the spaciousness and the covered and uncovered squares bring a breath of air that today is a luxury and an added value", he states. This feeling begins in the entrance hall, marked by ring-shaped pendants that announce the cozy spirit of the building. This set of attributes positions Aura as a building that speaks to its surroundings. "Aura, together with Arbo and Flora and the future Huma, contributes to the composition of the neighborhood, each with its own personality", says Luiza. The partnership with Abbud The relationship between Bohrer Arquitetos and landscaper Benedito Abbud has almost eighty projects in common. "He masters landscaping for development like no one else and gave us the freedom to adjust the details of his concept together with our team", says Luiza, about one of the country's most important landscaping professionals. The result is an integration that begins even before the building's entrance, where floral and fruit species announce the interiors, and extends to the leisure areas, gardens and wide frames that connect the internal environments to the external greenery. "When all this materializes, with people enjoying what we have planned, it is proof that we are heading in the right direction."
