Despite this, in this regard, Flávio is only behind federal deputy Aécio Neves (PSDB), rejected by 61% of those interviewed.
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), for comparison purposes, is rejected by 46% of those interviewed - a drop of 3 percentage points (p.p.) in relation to the last survey - while 36% say he is the only one they would vote for and 16% say they could vote for him.
Cabo Daciolo (Mobiliza) is rejected by 44% and Augusto Cury (Avante), ahead of former governor of Minas Gerais Romeu Zema (Novo), who registers 36%. The former governor of Goiás Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), the activist Renan Santos (Missão) and the former minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Joaquim Barbosa (DC) each have a 33% rejection rate. Augusto Cury (Avante) reaches 30%.
Political preference
The survey also shows that 36% of Brazilians prefer that the next president of the Republic be Lula. Another 32% say they would like to see a candidate supported by former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) elected, while 27% say they prefer a name that is not linked to either the PT member or the former head of the Executive - an increase of 6 percentage points, compared to the last survey, on June 29th. Whites, nulls and undecideds make up 1%. They don't know or didn't answer, 3%.
Nexus interviewed 2,003 respondents, aged 16 and over, by telephone, from July 10th to 12th. The margin of error is 2 p.p., plus or minus, with a 95% confidence level. The research is registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under code BR-07981/2026.
