The project consists of a kit that brings together the functions of 15 tools that are not sold in Brazil. The equipment is also designed to be comfortable, safe and easy to use. According to the team, one of the main differences was the fact that the kit had been tested in practice. "Our project was implemented in Pará, at an archaeological site in Pará and we were not only able to see it working, but see how the professionals deal with our project", highlighted team member Larissa Dutra, 15 years old. Last year, the students also placed sixth among more than 100 teams in an international robotics tournament held in California, in the United States. For the regional superintendent of Sesi Maranhão, Regina Sodré, the achievement is the result of the institution's investment in education, innovation and technology. "Robotics strengthens autonomy, critical thinking, leadership and other essential skills for different areas of these young people's lives. The award is the result of a training process that values ??knowledge, creativity and collaboration, in addition to demonstrating the potential of our students to compete at a high level anywhere in the world", he highlighted. The manager of Escola Sesi São Luís, Cristina Cunha, stated that the result reinforces the institution's commitment to education focused on creativity, science, innovation and student protagonism. “This achievement is a source of pride for the entire SESI Maranhão Network and represents one of the greatest titles ever achieved by our school in an international robotics competition”, he stated.
