Jairo was driving a Honda Bros 150 when the collision occurred with a white Mitsubishi L200 Triton pickup truck.
According to the incident report, the driver of the truck, a 59-year-old man, resident of Sinop, received assistance from the rescue team at the Rota do Oeste dealership. He informed the police that he was heading towards Castelo dos Sonhos–Sinop when he heard a strong impact and was unable to explain how the collision occurred. His wife was also in the vehicle.
With the force of the hit, Jairo was thrown a few meters. The motorcycle was completely destroyed and stopped underneath the truck, which suffered extensive damage to the right front.
Official Expertise and Technical Identification (Politec) carried out the procedures on site. The Civil Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident and reported that a company located nearby has monitoring cameras that may have recorded the dynamics of the collision. The images should assist in investigations.
