"We regret to inform you that Paulo Miklos' show scheduled for today (1) at the 14th Extrema Motofest, in Extrema, Minas Gerais, had to be cancelled. The artist was hospitalized last night with a diagnosis of pneumonia," said the statement.
According to the note, he has excellent clinical evolution, has already been transferred to a room and did not need intensive care. It is expected that he will resume activities within 72 hours, as per medical advice.
"We know how much the fans, motorcyclists and the organization were waiting for this night, and we share the frustration at not being able to be together. We deeply thank you for your respect and good energy for Paulo's full recovery."
The singer, who in May released a new album, "Coisas da Vida", recorded a video in the hospital. "My friends from Extrema, I want to send you a big kiss, I won't be able to be there today, but I will be there next year. I wish you a great meeting, kisses to everyone.
