Diddy is placed in solitary confinement after fight with inmate in US prison

According to information released by the website TMZ and confirmed by NBC News sources, the rapper was sent to a solitary confinement cell after getting involved in a fight with another inmate at the federal penitentiary where he is being held, in New Jersey.

The incident would have happened this week at FCI Fort Dix, a prison unit located in the American state. According to TMZ, the argument began after Diddy was insulted by a cellmate. The exchange of provocations quickly escalated into a physical fight.

Prison officials acted to contain the confusion and separated the two inmates before the situation worsened. After the episode, the musician was taken to an isolation cell, a measure adopted by the prison administration after incidents of this type.

Neither FCI Fort Dix management nor the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons have officially commented on the case. When contacted by the American press, the agencies preferred not to comment on the incident or confirm details involving the artist.

Diddy has been in prison since September 2024. The rapper was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being found guilty of the crime of transporting people for the purpose of prostitution.

According to the rules of the American prison system, the sentence may be reduced if the musician maintains good behavior during the period of incarceration. In this scenario, the current forecast is that he will leave prison in 2028.
