Amy began writing songs as a teenager and signed her first record deal at age 16. Her debut album, "Frank" (2003), received praise from British critics, but it was her second and final album, "Back to Black" (2006), that turned her into an international phenomenon. The album brought hits such as Rehab and the title track and earned him five Grammy awards in 2008.
Her relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil influenced the songs on her second album, with whom she lived a marriage marked by ons and offs, alcohol and drug abuse and intense public exposure.
