Claudia Leitte publishes message of support for Neymar after elimination from the World Cup

(FOLHAPRESS) - Singer Claudia Leitte made a statement to Neymar after the center forward said goodbye to the World Cup with Brazil's defeat to Norway in the round of 16. The artist stated that the star represents the Brazilian people and highlighted her support.

"Above all, Neymar, you are an example on the field for so many young people who have the same dream as yours: to become a great national team idol. And no one can say that you didn't achieve that! You are the football boy without boots who dreamed of being a player. And that dream came true. Because you believed until the end", wrote the interpreter of "Bola de Sabão".

This may have been Neymar's last participation in the World Cup. The Santos player has participated in every tournament since 2014 and his call-up for this year generated controversy among football fans, as the player started the tournament injured.

Furthermore, among the critics' other complaints were the publication of bets, the presence at parties and the performance on the field. According to a survey carried out by FolhaStats, the player's performance in the 2026 edition totaled just 37 minutes.
