Johnson said he lived for years with low ferritin levels before later tests confirmed the condition. He also stated that the disease may be linked to years of eating fast food, sugary drinks, stress, depression and weight gain before starting his extreme anti-aging routine.
The technology entrepreneur, who reportedly spends around $2 million a year on health screenings and treatments, said he now plans to monitor the disease through blood tests and biopsies, while controlling it with experimental approaches. There is currently no cure, but he argues that no disease should be dismissed as incurable in the age of artificial intelligence and advanced medicine.
