The changes take place between 3am and 1pm, due to the Petrobras Run and Walk. The start will be at 7am, in front of the Aquarium, in Ponta da Praia. There will be two sections closed, both towards José Menino and Ponta da Praia. During the tests, agents from the Traffic Engineering Company (CET-Santos) will be on site to ensure safety and guide drivers. Suggestions for alternative routes to escape the blockages were detailed by Santos City Hall. (see table below) Closures and alternative routes Vem pra Orla The Vem Pra Orla project also returns with a special free program for children and adults this Sunday, bringing together sporting, recreational, educational and cultural activities along the beach. From 8:30 am, the track will be open for sports and leisure. From 10am to 1:30pm, several attractions will be distributed at different points along the route. The closures will take place on avenues Vicente de Carvalho, Bartolomeu de Gusmão and Almirante Saldanha da Gama, towards José Menino/Ponta da Praia, between Avenida Ana Costa and Rua Ricardo Pinto. As alternative routes, drivers will be able to use Galeão Carvalhal and Governador Pedro de Toledo streets, in addition to Avenida Doutor Epitácio Pessoa. Bus lines Municipal bus lines 5,7, 17, 23, 37, 42, 52, 139, 152, 153, 154, 184 and 194 will undergo changes to their respective routes during the closure period.
