"I experienced a moment that, for many people, may seem small, but for me it had enormous meaning. Today I did my first job after a very difficult period in my life. A few months ago, I underwent a very delicate surgery on my knee", he said.
Then, Vera explained why she hadn't talked about the subject before. "I preferred to live all this in silence, without turning my recovery into news. I wanted to win this stage first and today I won. I spent the 80s, 90s, 70s practically living on the dance floor", he recalled.
The actress also said that the pace and working conditions were challenging factors, such as on the tour of the play " Quando Eu For Mãe Quero Amar Desse Jeito " with which she traveled the country for two and a half years. "I was going up and down a staircase at full speed with a huge jump. Eventually the bill will arrive."
According to Vera, when examining her, the doctors were very clear. "Either I had surgery or I ran the risk of losing my mobility. There were difficult weeks, a lot of physiotherapy. And I'm very happy to be back", she concluded, emotionally.
