This could be the next big mobile puzzle game
If you're a fan of puzzle games for cell phones, you'll probably want to give "Lumines Remastered" a try, a game released in 2018 for consoles and PC and which has also just arrived on Android and iOS cell phones. As...
As with classics like "Tetris", "Lumines" is a game in which blocks fall — each with four colors — and the player must rearrange them to form squares of a single color, changing the orientation of each one. These blocks of a single color are then eliminated in time with the background music of each of the levels.
This musical factor does not appear by chance and, in addition to making "Lumines" especially enjoyable and addictive, it is a trademark of Japanese creator and producer Tetsuya Mizuguchi, responsible for "Tetris Effect", "Rez", among others.
"Lumines Remastered" is a new version of the classic released in 2004 for the PSP portable and, apparently, the timeless concept continues to win over fans today.
"Bringing an energetic, music-focused puzzle game like 'Lumines' to mobile is a natural evolution," said Enhance founder and CEO Tetsuya Mizuguchi. "When I designed the game, the idea was that it could be played anywhere, something you could pull out of your pocket whenever you wanted or needed to relax. Now, technology and touchscreens make it possible to play it faithfully on personal devices. My hope is that it will please longtime 'Lumines' fans and gain new fans."
It is important to highlight that anyone can download the game and try out the first levels. To play the full version of "Lumines Remastered", however, you will need to make a single purchase.
