Renan Santos targets attacks on Flávio at a Missão event and defends 'killing anyone who steals'

The presidential candidate adopted insults with a radical right-wing speech, saying that "we will kill whoever steals". He said it was not a third way, called Flávio a "phony, weak and corrupt", mentioned "rats who dress in green and yellow" and referred to Lula as "cursed".

Created in 2025 by members linked to the MBL (Movimento Brasil Livre), Missão had already held a convention in advance on the 20th, to guarantee the protection of the Federal Police after Renan had received threats from two criminal factions in Ceará, but this Saturday it held a symbolic event in the east zone of São Paulo with the presentation of a government program at its first national congress.

Renan Santos appears with 3% of voting intentions in the July Datafolha survey.

In an event marked by a delay of around 30 minutes due to security protocols, a predominantly younger audience and supporters wearing t-shirts with the phrase "arrested, killed", the party sought to consolidate itself as a right-wing alternative to political polarization, combining proposals for strict fiscal adjustment with a "law and order clash" against organized crime.

Held at Komplexo Tempo, in Mooca, the meeting included, in addition to Renan's speech, the presentation of the running mate, retired lieutenant colonel Aroldo Medina, the nomination of names for state governments and a panel on favelaization.

During the congress, the party presented the "Yellow Book", a document of more than 500 pages that brings together the government program for 2026, divided into the sections "New State", "Basic Reforms" and "Country of the Future".

The structuring of the material had the support of Orlando Lima, who should also help in the creation of the future Yellow Book Institute. According to the organizers, the work required more than two years of research and had the collaboration of university deans and professors, who supported the project anonymously.

In the economic area, the document defends a fiscal adjustment classified as a "bitter medicine". The proposals include a transition PEC to deindex social security and assistance benefits from the minimum wage and the decoupling of constitutional health and education floors, estimating savings of R$1.1 trillion by 2031.

In public security – an area that motivated the use of "arrest, kill" t-shirts by activists –, the program suggests the adoption of the "Enemy's Penal Law", the creation of super prisons for criminal leaders and the confiscation of assets belonging to members of factions such as the PCC and Comando Vermelho.

The plan also covers "Great Municipal Consolidation", proposing to merge financially unviable municipalities to reduce the national total from 5,570 to around 1,656 cities.

Representative Kim Kataguiri detailed part of the social and administrative proposals, defending radical changes in access to federal programs.

According to the parliamentarian, the payment of aid will be conditional on the acceptance of jobs.

"The gateway to Bolsa Família will change, because there will be jobs. We will reach out to healthy citizens, with the capacity to work, and say: 'do you want to receive the fifth pulse of Bolsa Família while working? Yes, great, we have this job for you. No? Then you won't even receive Bolsa Família'", said Kataguiri.

The deputy proposed the creation of the "Managerial Responsibility Law", a rule that would make mayors who do not achieve basic sanitation, health and education targets ineligible. He criticized the federative pact, stating that inefficient administrations earn more money, and proposed transfers linked to good indicators, regardless of party alignment.

On the security agenda, Kataguiri anticipated that Aroldo Medina would take over, on the first day of government, an operation to retake territories in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The deputy also suggested that the President of the Republic make weekly statements on national television, showing the reduction in the areas of the country controlled by criminal factions and the faces of criminal leaders exterminated by the State.

In his speech, the candidate for vice president, retired lieutenant colonel Aroldo Medina, used a broom on stage to criticize political opponents. A former member of the Rio Grande do Sul Military Brigade, he compared the current federal administration and a possible Bolsonaro administration to an old object. "An old, smelly broom, if we use it to sweep here, it won't sweep very well. Brazil, with an old broom, it doesn't work well", said Medina.

The military man compared the Mission ticket to a "new broom", promising to "sweep all the dirt" from corruption scandals, highlighting that this would not be done "under the carpet".

The party sold tickets in different categories, from the basic ticket of R$94 to the "Onça" ticket, of R$7,014, which included lunch with leaders, a photo with the leadership and a collectible item signed by the candidate.

In addition to the box office, Missão focuses on individual donations from supporters. Renan Santos leads fundraising on the party's financing platform, with R$898,400 received from 15,600 donors. Kim Kataguiri, the group's main political leader, appears with R$138.6 thousand, followed by Renato Battista (R$45.7 thousand), Victor Antoun (R$31.6 thousand) and Ana Hering (R$31.5 thousand).
