The data released this Tuesday, 14th, for May, show that the amount forgotten by Brazilians in banks fell to R$6.242 billion, compared to R$10.324 billion in April.
The reduction of R$4.082 billion in the Values Receivable System (SVR) is mainly explained by the transfer. The effect of sending money to the FGO should also have a residual impact on the June data.
The Ministry of Finance reported, at the end of May, that financial institutions transferred R$5.7 billion from the SVR to the fund, used by the government to guarantee Desenrola's debt renegotiations.
The SVR is a BC service that allows individuals and companies to check if they have forgotten money in banks, consortium administrators and other institutions. It is possible to check values ??related to closed current or savings accounts with an available balance, fees charged incorrectly and unsought resources from closed consortium groups, for example.
