Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro began to be called "Yoko Ono" by allies of the children of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). The nickname emerged after the repercussion of the video released by Michelle last week, in which she criticizes the senator and PL pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Flávio Bolsonaro (RJ). The information was originally published in the Andreza Matais column, on the Metrópoles portal.

The comparison gained strength last Thursday (2), when journalist and YouTuber Kim Paim used the nickname in a post on social media when commenting on the results of an AtlasIntel survey. When sharing a post from Metrópoles, Paim wrote: "13% support Yoko Ono." The communicator is considered close to members of the Bolsonaro core, including former councilor Carlos Bolsonaro.

The reference alludes to the Japanese artist, singer and songwriter Yoko Ono Lennon, now 93 years old. She was married to John Lennon between 1969 and 1980, the year in which the musician died at the age of 40.

For decades, some Beatles fans held Yoko Ono responsible for the end of the band. However, when she met John Lennon in 1966, the group was already facing internal problems. Despite this, the artist's presence is often pointed out by admirers of the band as a factor that intensified conflicts between Lennon and the other members of the Beatles: Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

It was precisely this association that allies of Jair Bolsonaro's children began to use when referring to Michelle, amid the wear and tear caused by the recent exchange of criticism involving the former first lady and Flávio Bolsonaro.
