The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) predicts rain for the South Region over the weekend, between this Friday (10) and Saturday (11), due to the advancement of areas of instability coming from Paraguay and northern Argentina. The system also reaches the south and west of Mato Grosso do Sul on Saturday, which favors the return of precipitation in these areas.
Meteorology predicts hail this weekend in the South Region
The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) predicts rain for the South Region over the weekend, between this Friday (10) and Saturday (11), due to the advancement of areas of instability coming from Paraguay and...
In other regions of the country, the period will be stable, due to the action of a mass of dry air that maintains an extensive area of low relative humidity over the Central-West and part of the Southeast and Northeast regions.
According to Inmet, the rain remains concentrated over areas of the Northern Region, while instabilities originating in Paraguay and northern Argentina favor the return of rain to the South of the country. This Friday, frosts are restricted to the mountainous regions of the Southeast.
North Region
The forecast indicates for today and tomorrow the occurrence of rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, over the west of the Amazon, Roraima and Rondônia, while the other areas of the region present the possibility of isolated rain. Minimum temperatures are around 22°C in the region. Maximum temperatures exceed 30°C, with the highest values ??in southern Pará and Tocantins, where thermometers reach 36°C. In these areas, relative humidity remains low during the afternoons, with values ??below 30%, and warning of potential danger for low humidity.
Northeast Region
Over the next two days, rain remains restricted to the Northeast coastal strip. According to Inmet, today, precipitation occurs weakly and isolated across a large part of the coast, especially between dawn and early morning. For tomorrow, weak and isolated showers are forecast between the coast of Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba and Pernambuco.
In the interior of the region, the weather remains firm, with a predominance of sun and little cloud cover. With these conditions, low relative humidity continues to be the main highlight and covers southern Ceará, western Paraíba and Pernambuco, central-south Tocantins and Maranhão and central-western Bahia, where values ??vary between 20% and 30% during the afternoons, with a warning of potential risk for low humidity. The lowest minimum temperatures occur in the highest areas of Bahia, with values ??close to 14°C. Maximum temperatures remain high in the interior of the region, with strong heat, with thermometers showing 38°C in Piauí.
Midwest
The weather remains stable across the Midwest this Friday, with no rain forecast. The predominance of the dry air mass keeps the sky with little cloudiness. Tomorrow, areas of instability coming from Paraguay will bring rain to the west and south of Mato Grosso do Sul, while the other areas of the region remain in firm weather. The Inmet bulletin predicts that low humidity predominates in much of the region, with values ??between 20% and 30% in the afternoons. The exception is in the center-south of Mato Grosso do Sul, where an increase in humidity is expected on Saturday. The lowest minimum temperatures occur in the south of Mato Grosso do Sul, in the south of Goiás and in the Federal District, with values ??around 12°C. Maximum temperatures remain high, around 35°C in the north of Mato Grosso and Goiás.
Southeast Region
Today and tomorrow, the weather will be stable across the Southeast, with no significant rain forecast. However, the region has several highlights. The low humidity area, for example, should decrease from Friday to Saturday, when it is restricted to the center-north and east of the state and a large part of Minas Gerais, where values ??are between 20% and 30%.
On Saturday, there was an increase in cloudiness in the center-south of São Paulo due to the advancement of areas of instability from Paraguay. For the next two days, there is a forecast of frost in the mountain areas located on the border between Minas Gerais and São Paulo, due to low temperatures combined with low humidity. The lowest minimum temperatures are predicted for the south of Minas Gerais and the south of São Paulo, with values ??that can reach 4°C.
In other areas of the region, minimums are above 10°C in the coldest locations, while maximums can exceed 30°C in the north of Minas Gerais, the Triângulo Mineiro and the west of São Paulo. In Rio, the forecast is for clear to partly cloudy skies over the weekend, without rain and rising temperatures. The minimum will be around 14ºC in the morning and, during the day, the maximum reaches 31ºC.
South Region
This Friday (10), storms accompanied by thunderstorms hit regions between the north of Rio Grande do Sul and the center-south of Santa Catarina, with greater intensity on the border between the two states and in the border area with Argentina, where hail may occur. These conditions begin to act due to instability coming from Paraguay and the north of Argentina that arrives through the south of Brazil and favors instability in the region.
On Saturday, the weather becomes more unstable and favors rain and thunderstorms, mainly in Paraná, Santa Catarina and the central-north of Rio Grande do Sul. Therefore, there is a warning of potential risk for storms on both days, which ranges from the north of Rio Grande do Sul to the central strip of Paraná. As for temperatures, the minimum temperatures rise throughout the region, around 10°C, while the maximum temperatures remain high in the center-north of Paraná this Friday, with values ??around 28°C. The highlight is the drop in maximum temperatures on Saturday, around 20°C, across the region.
