Greta Thunberg is already a well-known name among the public for her work as an activist.
The young Swedish woman is one of the main voices in defense of the environment. What few people know is that she has a sister who is also famous, but for completely different reasons.
The two are so different that they make a point of keeping their family relationship out of the spotlight.
The activist's sister is building a career as a pop singer and adopted a stage name precisely to avoid being associated with the causes defended by her sister. On Instagram, where she shares part of her artistic life, she introduces herself as Beata Monalisa.
Beata chose not to use her family's surname and chose "Monalisa" as her stage name, a tribute to her grandmother, Mona, and great-grandmother, Lisa.
In a recent interview with Interview Magazine, the 20-year-old said that she is looking for her own space, far from the path followed by her older sister, known for challenging governments with her firm positions on climate change and social issues.
The differences between the two go beyond professional interests. They also appear in posture and style. While Greta is known for a more discreet and casual look, Beata adopts a more daring and irreverent image.

"Maybe it's a feeling. You can be world famous and not feel accepted, or you can have a small fan base and feel very successful," said Baeta in the same interview.

Self-taught in several artistic areas, Beata Monalisa says that she has been dancing since childhood and singing since she was seven years old. His love of music, however, led to him being bullied at school, where his performances were often seen as "boring" by his classmates. The young woman is preparing to release her 1st music album.
