Encceja 2026: students can now consult the writing guide

The booklet details the five skills assessed in textual production, explains how the writing is corrected and presents situations that could result in a zero grade.

The document also explains how the essay evaluation process occurs, which are corrected by at least two independent evaluators, and when there is a significant divergence between the grades, they undergo a third analysis.

According to the document, the essay must be a dissertation-argumentative text, written in Portuguese, with at least five lines, that addresses the topic proposed in the test.

The booklet also recommends that the participant uses the draft sheet to plan and review the text before transcribing it onto the final Writing sheet.

The writing test is an important part of the knowledge area of Portuguese Language, Modern Foreign Language, Arts and Physical Education.

To achieve competence in this area, the participant must obtain a score equal to or greater than 5 points in the writing test (which is worth 0 to 10 points), in addition to obtaining a minimum of 100 points in the objective questions in this area of knowledge.

The objective of the manual is to offer the Encceja participant a comprehensive view of the points assessed in the writing test, in a practical way, with real examples and summarized explanations.

It is worth highlighting the importance of the draft sheet in planning the text, especially to fill in the 25 lines available on the Writing sheet.
