"The first sign is when you lose the desire to do what you love most. When you no longer have the energy to be on stage, that's a huge warning," he explained.
During the conversation, the presenter highlighted Lucas Lucco's decision to address the topic without hiding the difficulties faced. For the singer, sharing the experience is part of the role of someone who lives off public exposure. "After I got better, I went back to performing and working like before, I felt I had an obligation to show that it is possible to overcome depression and anxiety," he said.
The countryman said that, in addition to depression, doctors diagnosed him with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and high abilities, a condition also known as giftedness.
According to him, the most delicate period affected not only his routine, but also the entire family. "We are experiencing a silent pandemic. Difficulties related to mental health have affected the entire world. It was a very complicated time, especially for my parents," he declared.
Lucco stated that medical support was essential during treatment, but said that he found spirituality to be important support in facing the disease. "Regardless of religion, medication is a fundamental ally, but I believe that the true medicine for healing is Jesus Christ," he stated.
