Her health condition is considered serious. According to family and friends, Iara was running along the avenue when she tried to cross the road and was hit by a motorcycle. After the collision, the motorcyclist fled the scene without providing assistance. A team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) provided first aid and took the doctor to the State General Hospital (HGE), in Trapiche da Barra.
